Sr Construction Project Manager

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve scheduling disputes between subcontractors suppliers and service providers to avoid project delays or interruption.
• Manage all phases of construction projects including project team members and staffing needs for each step.
• Create manage and update construction project schedules on a weekly basis.
• Update the project management report every day until the project is completed.
• Perform customer relations activities and encourage collaboration with the owner architect engineers city authorities subcontractors and employees.
• Obtain all building permits and make sure the payments are paid.
• Lead or manage project meetings:
• Create a staging and workplace safety strategy with the superintendent.
• Assist the supervisor with subcontractor construction and safety concerns on project sites.
• Maintain and update all construction documentation (change orders purchase orders RFIs submittals etc.).
• Prepare monthly project progress statements to anticipate profits and completion dates.
• Submit monthly payment requests. Collect any pastdue payments.
• Coordinate with the estimator and supervisor to assess and employ subcontractors as needed to meet project objectives.
• Prepare and submit the Monthly Project Report for presentation at the monthly meeting.
