Messaging/Kafka/Middleware Engineer

Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled Messaging/Kafka/Middleware Engineers to join our innovative team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and maintaining messaging solutions with a primary focus on Kafka and middleware technologies. This role is integral to our cloudnative Kubernetes platform and we are looking for individuals with a strong background in messaging systems and a passion for working in dynamic cuttingedge environments.

Responsibilities:

Messaging System Design and Implementation:

Design implement and maintain messaging solutions with a focus on Kafka and middleware technologies.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate messaging systems into the cloudnative Kubernetes platform.

Kafka and Middleware Administration:

Administer configure and optimize Kafka clusters and middleware components.

Ensure the high availability performance and reliability of messaging systems.

CloudNative Kubernetes Integration:

Deploy and manage messaging systems within Kubernetes clusters.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment scaling and monitoring of messaging solutions.

Performance Tuning:

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Kafka and middleware components.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance overall system performance.

Automation and Scripting

Develop automation scripts and tools for routine tasks related to messaging systems.

Implement automation to streamline operational processes within a cloudnative environment.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of messaging solutions with other components of the cloudnative architecture.

Provide technical support and guidance to development and operations teams.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for messaging system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.

Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Messaging/Kafka/Middleware Engineer.

Handson experience with Kafka and middleware technologies in a cloudnative environment.

Strong understanding of messaging architectures and patterns.

Proficiency in configuring and managing Kafka clusters.

Experience with middleware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ Apache ActiveMQ).

Familiarity with cloud platforms and Kubernetes orchestration.
