What does a Group FP&A Data & Systems Managerat Collinson do

Reporting to the VP Group FP&A the FP&A Data & Systems Manager will implement manage and develop the companys EPM consolidation planning and reporting system (CCH Tagetik). Working in collaboration with the finance IT and systems development teams the focus will be primarily to deliver high calibre system reports support analysis of data help maintain live systems and ensure business needs are met. You will work in conjunction with the BI team to deliver reports and dashboards to drive data driven decision making.

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

EPM Implementation:

  • Participate as a key/lead project team member in the design implementation and sustainability of our global EPM system Tagetik our new single source solution for planning consolidation & reporting that we are beginning to implement in 2024.

EPM Management:

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of Tagetik ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Implement enhancements and upgrades to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with security access controls and change management procedures in compliance with SOX requirements and Company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tagetik.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate Tagetik with other financial systems and tools.
  • Ensure accurate and seamless data flow between Tagetik and other business applications.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders to communicate insights and inform decisionmaking.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels throughout finance to understand and support their financial systems & reporting requirements.
  • Participate in crossfunctional projects to enhance overall financial system efficiency.

User Training & Support:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for users to maximize their proficiency in utilising Tagetik.
  • Provide ongoing support to users addressing inquiries and assisting with problem resolution.
  • Develop and manage technical documentation.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of Tagetik including advanced formula writing dimensionality and reporting capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in FP&A and EPM systems.

      Key skills and experience to be evidenced within your application include

      • Expertise in implementing financial systems project management and process improvement methodologies.
      • Previous experience of designing implementing and maintaining a planning and consolidation system (Tagetik experience is an advantage).
      • Solid understanding of the BI technology stack (Tableau Alteryx and Microsoft SQL Server)
      • Tableau and SQL experience is desirable.
      • Highly numerate and analytical with a strong data analysis and problemsolving skillset and the ability to produce complex reports.
      • Highenergy adaptive collaborative and responsive work style.
      • Ability to work in a fastpaced complex and dynamic work environment with poise and professionalism.
      • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
      • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
      • Experience working in large companies with complex financial systems environments is preferred.
      • Highly motivated selfstarter with a positive attitude and a passion delivering improvements resulting in clear business value.
      • Technical writing and documentation skills
