Overview: In this position you will play a vital role in the strategic operational and financial matters of a local nonprofit organization.
Essential Job Duties:
- Promote high ethical standards and compliance with policies laws and regulations.
- Complete and direct all accounting financial reporting budgeting and tax reporting activities including projections and analysis as needed
- Manager business and employee benefit insurance process
- Coordinate internal legal matters as directed
- Ensure that all internal controls are maintained in a continuously effective manner.
- Direct and oversee the external audit and compliance processes.
- With the President integrate the goals and objectives into budgeting and performance management.
- Direct Human Resource processes and coordinate policy enhancement and compliance activities. This responsibility includes directing performance appraisal and employee development processes.
- Directly supervise one or more employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- In consultation with the President and the Director of Development support development donor relationship and grant management activities.
- Serve as a company representative and spokesperson in the community and at events when needed.
Salary: $90000 $100000

Education and Experience:
- BA in accounting finance or business management (Required)
- CPA or MBA (Preferred)
- Relevant experience working with a nonprofit is a plus
Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership experience working in management and administration
- Experience overseeing human resource initiatives and staff development activities and the proven ability to work collaboratively with managers and staff.
- Financial accounting budgeting and reporting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have valid driver’s license
