Quality Assurance Manager - 1st Shift

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing plants Quality programs within a growing food processing facility ensuring compliance with company established procedures as per HACCP SOP USDA and FDA standards.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Five plus years of quality control experience; in a foodmanufacturing environment

HACCP SQF Certification highly desirable

Maintain guide and perform required annual Audits

Develop and maintain quality programs such as Pest Control Supplier Management Safety Microbiological Testing

Conduct inspections in accordance to CCP s GMP s HACCP and SSOP s

Investigate and respond to Customer complaints implement changes and write corrective actions

Work with Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of facility equipment and grounds

Work with Vendors to ensure established quality standards of all purchases

Strong computer skills Microsoft Office including Excel

Prior experience within the foodprocessing industry

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
