Job Description

The main responsibilities of this position include:
1. Collaborate and interact with functional business areas to gather requirements
2. Facilitate workshops between multiple stakeholders to gather information
3. Project manage Strategic projects
4. Continuous communication with stakeholders to either keep them updated on project progress or to highlight risk or follow-up on outstanding items
5. Write user-stories or business requirement specifications
6. Manage the critical path and timelines of deliverables
7. Compile test packs where needed and support it with testing
8. Manage pilots, rollouts, and training of projects

Requirements

Applicants for the position will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
2. A relevant Degree and or Higher National Diploma (Information Technology, Computer Science, System Design, Management Science, Business studies, Information Systems, Business Analyst)
3. Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Apparel Retail (Business area specific / Systems)

4. Knowledge of and exposure to:
a. Business process exposure/understanding (Area specific)
b. Process optimizing/improvement
c. Elicitation and documenting BRS/BRD
d. Working knowledge of Agile methodology
e. Setup, management, and execution of testing
f. Project Management
g. Training/Change management
h. Systems/Business support for BAU
i. System Architecture understanding (area specific integration environment/technical competency)
j. Unified Modeling Language (UML High-level context diagram, Product Breakdown Structure, System Architecture diagram, Flow Chart, Business Workflow diagram, Business Process Model and Notation, Use Case diagram, Use Case Narrative)

We are looking for an individual who:
1. Displays knowledge of waterfall and Agile working methodologies and principles.
2. Thorough understanding of implementing and maintaining systems/services/applications.
3. Has knowledge of PMBOK and BABOK management principles
4. Ability to compile quantitative and or qualitative information/reporting
5. MS Suite Intermediate - Advanced user
6. Understanding of System integration (environment/area specific)
7. Effective management of Personal Data Protection POPIA
8. Cloud based (SaaS) software applications that can enable services.
9. Possess planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills
10. ExceptionalEffectively communication skills es both verbally and written
11. Displays good presentation and facilitation skills
12. Displays high level of energy
13. Can work well individually and in a team
14. Is a self-starter and readily takes responsibility

Requirements Knowledge required: o An understanding of retail metrics and KPI s o An understanding of retail business systems. o Full proficiency in Microsoft products (Office 365) o Knowledge of Business Intelligence visualisation practices. o Experience in creating visualisations in PowerBI. Skills required: o Managing multiple tasks/projects o Managing external parties and stakeholders o Time management skills o Problem solving o Analytical skills o Detail orientated o Work independently and in a team environment o Interpretation of business analytical needs into specification documents o Ability to interpret business data and propose actions. o To be able to identify trends in data o To be able to compile visualizations and reports that can reflect relevant business KPI s. o To be able to incorporate external data/events with internal data to arrive at conclusions o To be able to communicate across all functional areas and hierarchical layers. o Customer and service orientation. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: o Bachelors degree in Information Systems or similar Preferred: o Post-graduate qualification in Data & Analytics, Information Systems or similar o Certification in PowerBI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Essential o 2-3 years experience in, reporting, data extraction (Google Cloud Platform) and data analysis o 2-3 years report writing experience, as well as experience in preparing statistics and data visualisations relevant to the business function o 2-3 years experience in a similar role, with PowerBI Preferred: o Have a general understanding of data architectures and Google Cloud technology o Have a general understanding of SQL or similar coding/scripting techniques. o Retail environment business environment
