Molding Process Technician 3rd Shift

Brief Description of Duties:

• Maintain processes that achieve and surpass Molding FTC goals
• Support in the development of quick mold change practices
• Responsible for safely and efficiently completing mold changes. Lead mold change time reduction
• Implement CI initiatives for process startup tool change etc
• Maintain a high departmental standard for housekeeping in the molding department
• Responsible for verification of proper water hydraulic and pneumatic connections
• Must be able to troubleshoot process IMM and robot issues
• Must be able to program new tools and create new robot programs
• Responsible for all other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12 years experience in a Plastic Injection Molding environment
• Prefer experience processing plastics and setting tools
• Knowledge of automation systems and controls is preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• Highly motivated and comfortable with change.
• Detailoriented and knowledgeable of TS16949 and ISO requirements.
• Must have experience in operating a forklift
