Job Description: Performance Test Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create loadtesting scripts for web/REST API applications using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Embed performance tests in CICD pipeline and automate the performance testing process.
- Conduct tests with complex workloads and data shapes to identify bottlenecks and failure points.
- Tune Java Web & REST servers for optimal performance.
- Utilize testing tools such as JMeter K6 Lighthouse and WebPage Test for server and client performance.
- Work with APM tools like Dynatrace New Relic and AppDynamics.
- Generate insightful performance metrics for management review.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in performance engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Java/JavaScript web framework architectures and system performance.
- Understanding of SDLCs CI/CD and testdriven mindset.
