Mobile Automation Engineer 3 to 5 yrs

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand mobile application requirements and develop automated test strategies.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps using industrystandard automation tools and frameworks.
• Identify prioritize and execute test cases across various mobile devices and platforms.
• Analyze test results investigate failures and report defects to ensure the production of highquality mobile applications.
• Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes to automate testing and deployment pipelines.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.
• Provide timely and detailed feedback on test results and recommend improvements to enhance mobile app performance.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of mobile testing strategies and test plans.
• Work closely with developers and QA teams to address test automation and quality assurance issues.
• Collaborate in the evaluation and selection of suitable mobile testing tools and frameworks.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging mobile application issues across different devices and operating systems.
• Participate in sprint planning retrospective and daily standup meetings to align testing activities with development schedules.
• Effectively communicate testing progress test coverage and potential risks to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of mobile test environments and test data.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile testing and test automation for iOS and Android platforms.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using automation tools such as Appium Selenium or Espresso for mobile app testing.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks (e.g. XCTest JUnit TestNG).
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java Kotlin Swift or JavaScript.
• Solid grasp of mobile application architectures design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins Bitrise).
• Ability to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a crossfunctional team environment.
• Ability to adapt to fastpaced development processes and deliver highquality results under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with mobile performance testing security testing and accessibility testing is a plus.
• Certifications in mobile testing and test automation (e.g. ISTQB Mobile Testing Certified Appium Tester) are advantageous.
• Passion for improving and innovating mobile testing practices and contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy.
