• Technical Leadership and Guidance:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align technical strategies and goals.
• System Architecture and Design:
• Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems.
• Architect and implement APIs and microservices.
• Ensure the system architecture meets high availability and performance requirements.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the backend systems.
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in backend development.
• Project Planning and Execution:
• Collaborate with product managers to understand project requirements and priorities.
• Participate in project planning estimation and resource allocation.
• Execute projects in a timely manner meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in the backend systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement necessary fixes and enhancements.
• Ensure proper monitoring and logging to proactively identify and address issues.
• Collaboration with CrossFunctional Teams:
• Collaborate with frontend engineers product managers and QA engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment and performance optimization.

• 8 years of experience in backend engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Python Postgres React Typescript and BigQuery.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and guidance.
• Experience in system architecture and design of scalable solutions.
• Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Note: The office location for this role is Bangalore (HSR or Koramangala).
