Job Description: Man Power Compensation Specialist
Job Objective:
Participate in the planning and budgeting of corporate workforce requirements aligning with the Companys projected growth expansion and nationalization plans. Ensure the implementation and administration of Compensation and Benefits (C&B) plans in accordance with Companys HR strategy policies and local labor laws contributing to operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities/Communication/OHSE Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- HR Policies and DOA:
- Participate in developing HR policy modifications aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide policy interpretation advice to employees Department Heads and Executive Management.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in HR policies ensuring alignment and compliance.
- Benchmark and evaluate HR planning and organizational development policies and practices.
- HR Budgets & Plans:
- Support the Senior ManagerHR Planning and Compensation in the annual HR budgeting process.
- Consolidate the HR budget analyze expenses and report variances to the Section Head.
- Workforce Planning & Management:
- Analyze current and future workforce requirements based on strategic objectives department needs and market trends.
- Assist in planning and coordinating the availability of the right talent considering Qatarization and strategic goals.
- Integrate workforce planning with talent and succession planning for future talent pipeline.
- Job Evaluation:
- Evaluate newly created or existing positions to determine job worth and assign appropriate job grades.
- Reward Surveys & Salary Structure:
- Participate in periodic market reward surveys.
- Analyze compensation and benefits across business units recommending changes for equity.
- Compensation and Benefits Plans:
- Prepare annual compensation and benefits plans ensuring compliance and budgetary considerations.
- Develop and maintain a competitive compensation and benefits program.
- Administer compensation and benefits surveys recommend changes based on benchmarking studies.
- Update job descriptions job families and recognition plans.
- Company Health & Safety Security Environment and Quality:
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental management policies.
- Prioritize employee safety and legislative compliance.
- Policies Systems Processes & Procedures:
- Implement approved departmental policies processes and procedures.
- Monitor adherence to ensure consistency and worldclass service delivery.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for change initiatives and projects reflecting international best practices.
- Related Assignments:
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills:
- Education & Professional Qualification: Bachelor s degree in human resources Business Administration or equivalent.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Compensation and Benefits function. GRP qualification preferred.
- Geographic Experience: Preferred.
- Computer Skills: Good knowledge of office and web applications.
- Language Skills: Business fluent English.
- Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of the development and management of reward strategies and data analysis. Knowledge of best compensation and benefits practices locally and internationally.
