Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of Node.js applications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Identify and address technical debt and code quality issues.
• Implement best practices in code reviews continuous integration and deployment.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical decisions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct performance tuning troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and technical design.
• Manage and prioritize technical tasks and deadlines.
• Communicate project status and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of technical talent.
• Responsible for technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Node.js developer in a senior or leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying production Node.js applications.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming eventdriven architecture and microservices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript and related web technologies.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (e.g. Express Koa NestJS).
• Knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Advanced problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks (optional).
• Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architecture (desired).
