JOB TITLE: Lead Project SCADA Application Engineer

REPORTING TO: UK and Ireland Delivery Manager

LOCATION: This role will be based in Worthing UK. We offer hybrid working with the expectation that 50% time will be spent in the office. The role may require occasional UK & International travel.

THE ROLE:

To deliver process automation system solutions. This is a Lead Engineer role to deliver SCADA and process control systems. The scope includes leading and engineering in all phases of project delivery including obtaining user requirements documentation application configurations testing commissioning and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaise with customers to help define system requirements.
  

• Generate detailed system design of automation systems to include enclosures networking instrumentation and supervisory systems.
  

• Generate Functional and Test Specifications.
  

• Procure project equipment.
  

• Implement control and SCADA application software.
  

• Carry out system tests.
  

• Provide commissioning assistance.
  

• Provide technical and sales support.
  

• Working as a team member and ensuring effectiveness of work completion using smart objectives.
  

• Interface with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers reporting on followup of projects.
  

• Coaching and mentoring of junior team members.
  

• Customer site visits for:
  

o System startup and commissioning.

o Technical support.

• Prepared to travel to our customer sites and work the hours to fit in with our customers.

• Proven track record in implementing control systems and providing related services. Computer literate.
