Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Manager to sell multiutility solutions for new housing schemes across the South of the UK and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the multiutility sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities fostering strategic partnerships and contributing to the growth and success of our multiutility services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients market trends and emerging opportunities in the multiutility sector.
    • Analyse competitor activities and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  1. Business Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers developers contractors and stakeholders in the housing and construction industry.
    • Work closely with the technical and project management teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
  1. Proposal Development and Presentation:
    • Prepare compelling and tailored proposals presentations and tender submissions in collaboration with the technical team.
    • Deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients showcasing the value proposition of our multiutility services.
  1. Contract Negotiation and Closure:
    • Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
    • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalise contractual agreements.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with clients understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.


Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development within the utility construction or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of multiutility connections and the regulatory landscape in the UK.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Resultsoriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Degree in Business Engineering or a related field is preferred.
