Temporary Senior Accountant - Fixed Asset

Reports to the Finance Manager

We seek a highly skilled and detailoriented Temporary Senior Accountant to join our Finance department. This position will be crucial in managing our fixed assets and ensuring accurate financial reporting. As a Temporary Senior Accountant Fixed Asset you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthend closing activities related to fixed assets including reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts
• Review and maintain fixed asset records ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare and analyze depreciation schedules and forecasts
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure proper recording and tracking of fixed assets
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to fixed assets
• Conduct periodic physical inventories to verify the existence and condition of fixed assets
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in fixed asset management
• Assist with Sales and Excise reports as well

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
