BUSINESS CHANGE MANAGER opportunity just in!
Manchester Hybrid working
Salary 43414 to 54954 per annum DOE NEG

Place of work: The team operates a hybrid working pattern whereby people are on site in line with business need and meeting attendance. Most work is currently undertaken virtually.

Annual Leave: 30 days plus shutdown from late December to early January and time off over Easter also!

Pension: The existing scheme entitles joiners to contribute circa 9.8% with an employer contribution of circa 21%. Final salary pension

We are now actively searching for a Business Change Manager.

Working with senior business change managers business lead(s) project manager(s) and other key stakeholders this role will focus on delivery of the change management elements within the IT Programme Evolve. The programme aims to provide the our client with stable and highly available IT services that enable their organisations current and future IT needs and is fundamental to ensuring we have the right technology in place to support future capabilities providing the foundations for further strategic change

The post holder will be required to provide change support for the range of IT projects that sit within the Programme and understand and manage the interrelationships between these where appropriate in order to demonstrate maximum impact and benefit to the organisation. The position will require the coordination of communication and engagement activity development of a clear vision of project outcomes and benefits and extensive engagement with stakeholders and project team members in order to create a sense of unity and common purpose.

A key requirement of the role will be to ensure appropriate working partnerships are in place with the relevant functional areas (e.g. PMO IT Services) colleagues students and external stakeholders which are conducive to the effective realisation of this high profile change project.

The role will be working across IT and nonIT Change programmes within our strategic change portfolio.

In particular you will be supporting an IT Transformation programme that is likely to have a budget in excess of 40m over the next few years.

Essential criteria
  • Someone who has worked to deliver Business Change leadership across significant change programmes within a similar public sector/HE/complex organisation
  • Experience of working to deliver change with major programmes that have budgets of more than 5m
  • A track record of working with senior stakeholders to develop excellent relationships whilst working to challenging timelines
  • A Change Management leader who can bring Change approaches methodology and templates to life in a real working environment
  • An agile person who is able to recognise Change interdependencies across the portfolio and work with numerous stakeholders to mitigate risks and support the wider portfolio
  • Someone who can coach and energise Change Managers effectively
We are looking at a 18 month FTC for starters but this is likely to become a perm role in the future.
