Job Description

MDG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Paid Social Media Manager to join our growing team. As a Senior Paid Social Media Manager you will be responsible for planning implementing and optimizing paid social media campaigns to enhance our client s visibility engage our target audience and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset proficient in social media advertising platforms and capable of staying ahead of industry trends.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Campaign Strategy and Planning

    • Develop comprehensive paid social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives for assigned brands and / or campaigns

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate paid social campaigns into broader client initiatives

    • Consistently and proactively identify opportunities for campaign optimization that stand out from the competition.

  • Execution & Optimization

    • Manage endtoend execution of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook Instagram Pinterest LinkedIn etc.

    • Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics adjusting targeting creative elements and budgets as needed.

    • Implement A/B testing strategies to refine and improve campaign effectiveness.

    • Excellent understanding of campaign tracking parameters as it relates to the success of traffic and conversion campaigns.

  • Budget Management

    • Develop and manage budgets for paid social media campaigns.

    • Monitor and report on campaign expenditures providing insights into ROI and costeffectiveness.

  • Analytics & Reporting

    • Utilize analytics tools to track analyze and report on key performance metrics.

    • Generate regular insights on campaign performance providing actionable recommendations.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Passion and proven expertise as a Senior Paid Social Media Manager.

  • Indepth knowledge of social media platforms and their capabilities.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Expertise across all major paid social media tools & platforms

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of media fundamentals including media math target audience development and KPI goals

  • Create flowcharts budget sheets and PowerPoint presentations

  • Establish a collaborative working relationship with the media & account teams to ensure that media strategies are being delivered and brand goals/client needs are being met within a timely manner

  • Perform monthly or asneeded reporting for the clients and account team providing insight into performance

  • Bachelors Degree in advertising/marketing or related field

  • Minimum of 57 years of mediabuying experience at an advertising agency

  • Detailoriented individual with excellent written and verbal skills

  • Proficient in working with Excel PowerPoint Gmail/GSuite

  • Analytical skills and assembling performance reports

  • Positive person who thrives on working with others as a team but can also work autonomously to complete projects

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously adapting easily to changes in requests

  • Clientfacing experience and presentation skills a plus
