The role

Our trainees and Early Careers Associates are core to us at Gravita. Were looking for an Early Careers People Partner to lead our Early Careers efforts and enable our early career colleagues to succeed within the business. Partnering with our service lines support teams and key stakeholders you will develop and drive our Early Careers strategy support our trainees through periods of significant change and continuously improve and evolve our development programmes to provide the best possible experience for our trainees.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage data to develop and lead the execution of Gravitas Early Careers strategy in line with our overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the various training programmes and pathways from endtoend; partner with our learning providers to enable early career and newtocareer colleagues to successfully progress within Gravita.
  • Work with our Early Careers colleagues including senior leaders to create a bestinclass trainee experience fostering and role modelling an environment of inclusion for all employees.
  • Facilitate the coaching and development of Early Careers trainees and Associates encouraging an open and inclusive environment where individual skills are recognized and encouraged.
  • Manage employee relations and performance enhancement whilst fostering a unified commitment to excellence and instilling a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistency across various training programmes and legacy firms.
  • Play a key role in designing and implementing compensation structures for those on training programmes to promote growth retention and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience in People Business Partnering ideally in a rapidly growing scaleup business OR
  • A background in Early Careers and programme management youve previously identified skill gaps to design training programmes progression pathways and promoted continuous learning to support employee growth and development and delivered these programmes.
  • A passion for seeing others thrive and grow with an appreciation of measures and approaches to enable and support individual success.
  • Past experience in change management with the ability to bring teams on a journey from senior leaders through to people just starting their professional journey.
  • A strong problem solver who excels on the execution side. You will be able to effectively juggle multiple projects and competing priorities and work well with ambiguity.
  • Experience of working with and coaching managers to handle employee relations cases such as performance and absence would be a benefit.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data driven approach.


The Nitty Gritty

  • Our standard working week is a 37.5hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based)
  • Core working hours are 10am 4pm Monday to Friday
