We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled team colleague to support us in the development of our speech processing engine Sigma.
Tasks
- Designing and developing our speech processing engine Sigma as part of our development team
- Understanding speech on a physical and acoustic level
- Implementing features that leverage speech analysis in pathological contexts (e.g. speech properties that indicate depressed mood in major depressive disorder or motor impairment in Parkinsons disease)
- Working interdisciplinarily with Developers Data Scientists Medical & Pharmaceutical experts to build and release products and services that make an impact on the progress of clinical research
- Supporting product owner as a stronghold for deep and technical speech analysis questions
Requirements
- You have completed a degree in computer science signal processing or related fields with a strong focus on speech processing and acoustic engineering
- You have 3 years of experience in the field
- You have a significant level of expertise in Python and C/C
- You have a good understanding of processes and relevant experience with version management and CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab)
- You have experience with different microphones and recoding settings
- You are comfortable with a fastpaced and rapidly changing environment and eager to tackle new challenges
- You are capable of working autonomously or as part of a small team showcasing a proactive and selfdriven approach to problemsolving
- You have very good written and spoken English skills
