Tasks

• Design develop and maintain data integration processes using ETL tools
• Create and optimize data pipelines to extract transform and load data from various sources
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Perform data profiling and data quality assessment to ensure accuracy and reliability of data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration transformation and loading processes

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience (not just 8 years working but specifically 8 years as a BI Engineer or Data Warehouse professional).
• Excellent proficiency in Dimensional Modeling following the Kimball methodology.
• Strong ability to gather functional requirements directly from the business eliminating the need for intermediaries and engaging directly with key business stakeholders.
• Translate gathered requirements into the design of dimensional models and the necessary data structures.
• Very skilled in SQL particularly in the context of ETL design supervision and building data marts.
• Knowledgeable in various tools including Powerdesigner Informatica suite (especially Powercenter) and BO (Business Objects).
• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently while adhering to existing guidelines and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
