Offgrid Mindful Cabins GmbH is an earlystage nature travel hospitality sustainable and design startup. We are fuelled by passion for mindfulness nature storytelling and unique design experiences. We design manufacture and operate cabins (tiny houses) that promote mental wellness mindfulness and unforgettable memories in the heart of nature. Our beautifully designed Offgrid cabins serve as gateways to happier healthier lives.

Tasks

JOB INTRO:

Offgrid is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Hotel Operations. As the Head of Hotel Operations you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daytoday operations. This position requires excellent leadership skills strong organizational abilities and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING HERE

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping food and beverage maintenance and security departments.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of all hotel departments providing coaching and feedback to enhance productivity and service quality.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other senior management to develop strategies to improve guest satisfaction profitability and overall hotel performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Manage the budget for hotel operations including labor costs supplies and equipment while striving for cost efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness maintenance and safety standards are met throughout the property.
• Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge ensuring high levels of guest service.
• Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork open communication and recognition of employee achievements.
• Stay updated with industry trends competitor analysis and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative strategies.

Requirements

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Masters degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. (preferred)
• Proven experience in a senior management role within the hotel industry.
• Certification in Hotel Management or relevant industry certification. (preferred)
• Experience working in an offgrid or ecofriendly hotel environment.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Indepth knowledge of hotel operations including front desk procedures housekeeping standards food and beverage operations maintenance protocols and security measures.
• Proficient in using hotel management software and MS Office suite.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of sustainable practices and commitment to promoting ecofriendly initiatives.
