Job Description

At VAST the sales team is the engine that drives the global consumer reach. We are seeking a qualified sales manager who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills as well as the leadership of a team. The ideal sales manager has deep experience with the entire sales process excelling at lead generation relationship building and deal closing.


The objective of this role:

  • Representing the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of offerings.
  • Achieve Company objectives by planning thoroughly setting sales goals analyzing performance data & and making forecasts.
  • Generate Leads and establish and nurture client relationships.

Desired Profile:

  • MBA Marketing
  • 10 years of experience in managing sales in the IT services industry.
  • Excellent English communication and working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
  • Proven sales experience and a good history of exceeding sales targets are required. Manage the targets assigned by the management.
  • Ability to travel.

Skills/ Requirements.

  • Should be an extrovert initiativetaking personality with a purposeful approach and be strong in negotiation and convincing.
  • Effective communication & and presentation skills with an eye for details
  • Having a good network of potential industries will be an added advantage for the candidate.
  • An ability to build and manage good relations with clients is essential.

Competent in managing product demos and technical queries for customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating & and executing strategic sales plans that expand our customer base and extend the companys global reach by Generating Business Leads.
  • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily checkins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
  • Understanding the technical requirements of clients and coordinating with the internal team to prepare the solutions & and offerings as per the commitment given to the customers.
  • Prepare the offer proposal with accuracy and share it with clients in the given timelines.
  • Responsible for implementing & and monitoring monthly quarterly and annual sales plans as per the business sales forecast.
  • Setting sales targets and ensuring sales goals are met.
  • Planning and creating the sales revenue and expense controls.
  • Delegating individual sales targets to the sales team.
  • Providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Building a good relationship with the clients.
  • Preparing and presenting sales reports to the higher management.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing department to develop various promotional activities.
  • Researching and reviewing competitor regularly offerings
  • Resolving customers complaints and issues professionally.
