Job Description

Are you a Technical Sales Support specialist who enjoys being at the forefront of cuttingedge technology in welding and robotics

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a crucial liaison between customers application sales managers and Headquarters for resolving technical issues related to equipment selection and enhancements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in four to five major application market segments with a focus on welding and robotics.
  • Support sales efforts through effective demonstrations feasibility evaluations and project execution.
  • Develop indepth knowledge of customer products within the designated focus area.
  • Lead evaluation of vendor products maintain demo lab and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare technical materials and presentations for clients internal teams and Integrators/OEMs.
  • Conduct internal training classes on new functions and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Submit technical papers and reports for journals and industry trade shows.
  • Provide inhouse and onsite programming/process support for specialized applications.
  • Act as an internal consultant on process technology and product/system applications.
  • Perform and document customer demonstrations and support trade show efforts.
  • Travel 1525% requiring a valid drivers license and full coverage automobile insurance.
  • Support Product Development with technical input for specifications.
  • Establish procedures for technical personnel adhering to ISO policies for quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Science degree with six years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in programming and process expertise related to robotic/automated equipment.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently make decisions within established policies and use ERP systems and tools.
  • Minimum 35 years of welding experience.
