Job Description

Job Description: Payroll Administrator Sage 300

  • Handle endtoend payroll processing using Sage 300 software.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries to employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and data including leave balances bonuses and deductions.
  • Calculate overtime allowances and other payroll components.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Manage payroll queries and resolve employees' concerns related to payroll.
  • Stay updated with local labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of payrollrelated tax documents and submissions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payrollrelated activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Sage 300 payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles procedures and tax regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Desired Experience:

  • 13 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Experience in a similar position within the retail industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with South African labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in handling payroll for a large employee base.

Salary & Benefits:

  • The salary for the Payroll Administrator position is annual and will be in Rand (R South Africa).
  • The exact salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications skills and experience.
  • Other benefits such as medical insurance and retirement plans may be offered as per company policy.
