Your mission

In this newly created role you will be taking active lead for the establishment of a genuine Health Safety and Wellbeing culture in the workplace by taking a pragmatic approach to the implementation of global group HSW Standards.

Your tasks

• Develop and lead the implementation of the local HSW standards procedures guidance tools and templates that meet the requirements of the global standards alongside incountry regulations
  
• Train managers and employees on all HSW principles and regulations
  
• Help employees to return to work under optimum conditions following an accident or illness
  
• Supervise and empower employees in terms of health protection and compliance
  
• Work with the HR and People department to follow up staff on sick leave and participate to absenteeism Management
  
• Supervise and empower employees in terms of health protection and compliance
  
• Prevent or intervene early in the event of accidents and illnesses to avoid complications
  
• Responsible for the reporting and statistics linked to employee health and wellbeing
  
• Participate in specific projects related to the development of the position and needs
  
• Run regular Health Safety and Wellbeing Audits
  
• Define construction and layout standards for branch environment in alignment with Operations Development & Procurement Manager and regularly assess all branches against these standards.
  

• Completed studies and/or vocational training in economics or other related fields
  
• 57yrs operational experience in HSE preferably in SM production manufacturing environment
  
• Any HSE certifications and/or trainings a PLUS (SUVA CFST etc.)
  
• Sense for human relationships on different levels empathic and social
  
• Knows how to manage multiple projects in parallel
  
• Takes initiative is creative and collaborative.
  
• Strategic outlook and focus on results
  
• Has an eye for detail and ensures a high level of accuracy.
  
• Language skills: German (C1) English (B2/C1) any other language a PLUS
  
• This role requires business travels in Switzerland (Swiss German part mainly) and to the Head office in Signy
