The PhD Thesis Writing Specialist is responsible for providing one-on-one coaching and support to PhD students who are working on their theses. The Specialist will work closely with students to provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the thesis writing process. They will also be responsible for developing and delivering workshops and training sessions on topics related to academic writing and research.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to PhD students who are working on their theses
- Guide students through the thesis writing process, including developing research questions, designing research studies, analyzing data, and writing the thesis
- Provide feedback and guidance on writing and research skills
- Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions on topics related to academic writing and research
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs and services that support student success
- Stay current with trends and best practices in academic writing and research

Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic writing and research
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience providing coaching and support to students or other professionals
- Knowledge of academic writing styles and citation formats
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience developing and delivering workshops and training sessions
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
