Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist (remote) Job Description At SUSE we Innovate Everywhere through Open-Source solutions and for us, Open means more than software. It is a business model and a culture. Join our global HR team as a Total Rewards Specialist (Compensation & Benefits). You will be stepping into an international & dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities to learn. We are flexible regarding the listed locations and can support remote working. Focus Areas  • Partnering with external vendors and brokers to gain external market data on local Compensation and Benefits practices and norms • Identifying opportunities to improve current policies and programs • Researching best pricing options for the Company either on a global, regional or local scale, consolidating vendors as and when required • Coordinating the annual renewal processes of Total Reward programs and plans, together with our partners and vendors. • Ensuring governance of Compensation and Benefits plans across multiple jurisdictions whilst supporting all ongoing compliance-related activities/projects including occasional audits, reporting, analyzing, and interpreting data • Managing processes related to employer-sponsored plans, this may include: implementing salary sacrifice schemes, wellbeing approaches, pensions, and other fringe benefits. • Partnering with HRBPs and HR Operations teams in order to understand and respond to the local requirements, trends, and demand • Partnering with Finance, Tax, Procurement, and Legal regarding spending, budgeting, vendor changes, new programs, and strategic projects • Compensation and Benefits Process reengineering and optimization • Supporting Total Rewards strategy, Executive compensation, and Long Term Incentive plan queries and management Preferred Experience & Skills • Demonstratable relevant experience with Compensation and Benefits policies, management, projects, and practices • Proven experience working in a global, fast-paced, and progressive organization • Proficiency in interpreting data, auditing/investigating products, services, and issues, and providing professional insights and recommendations • Strong analytical skills and a high level of IT literacy are essential, particularly advanced Excel • Prior experience in implementing new Compensation / Benefits programs and portals would be advantageous Personal Attributes • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various time zones • Fluent English (written and spoken) • Ability to influence and excel in a fast-paced environment where there is frequent change and ambiguity • A good work ethic • The ability to work well both on your own and as part of a team • A solution-orientated mindset Job Human Resources What We Offer We empower you to be bold, driving your career to create the future you want.
