Job Description
Job Objective:
Contribute to the revenue growth by developing and managing Batelco’s product portfolio for Enterprise Customers and Consumers. Identify opportunities for developing and enhancing Batelco products. Manage end-to-end design and development of products and services.
Responbsilties
Financial
- Develop and manage products for Enterprise customers and Consumers to meet Business plan and revenue targets
- Track and report adherence to the Product Development / management budget, highlight deviations in time.
Operational
- Conduct market sizing and consumer analysis to provide inputs for developing Product and Service Strategy
- Conduct market research to determine customer needs, identify new services/ products, innovation opportunities, leading technologies in the market to generate ideas for new business opportunities
- Assess market competition by comparing the Batelco's product to competitors' products
- Assess feasibility of introducing new products/ services, integrating new leading technologies into existing product concepts
- Assess market adoption potential for launching new products and services
- Forecast consumer requirement and analyse the need for expansions on network coverage due to new product development
- Design specifications for new products and services. Create and finalise the technical requirement documents for product development
- Prepare and track adherence to the product delivery plan
- Lead the team of technicians for Product development. Conduct user acceptance test for launching product/ service
- Evaluate performance of product/ services. Identify potential improvement opportunities in existing products
- Liaise with Marketing & communication team to prepare campaigns for products & services
- Identify and liaise with Procurement for on-boarding partners for providing Service support
- Serve as a subject matter expert in own work area / sub-function / function and provide guidance to team / peers and support in the achievement of operational targets
- Undertake initiatives to improve processes in assigned area of work
- Guide team / peers in meeting delivery timelines and performance expectations
- Ensure that team / peers adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
People
- Take ownership for attending the trainings as per the plan
- Take ownership for completing PMS process, employee engagement surveys in time
- Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
- Motivate and build a healthy work environment within the team. Provide support in resolving work related / other concerns in an effective manner.
Skills
Qualification
- Bachelors’ in Business Studies or Marketing
- 4-6 years of experience in telecoms network, product development or marketing.
- Experience in developing Business cases, Project Management
