Job Description
- practical experience in relevant farm and livestock management, supported by appropriate qualifications to level 3 (or equivalent level of vocational experience).
- basic understanding of farm habitats, water quality and soil health. Basic plant and wildlife identification skills.
- knowledge of current cross compliance obligations and relevant agri-environment schemes, or equivalent for the location
- good practical understanding of animal welfare regulations and specifically the standards required under RSPCA Assured (Freedom Food).
- knowledge of Health & Safety compliance requirements and experience of producing risk assessments for day-to-day operations.
