Job Description

One of our esteemed clients in the shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Interim Project Manager for immediate joining to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary:

As an Interim Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects for a duration of 12 months ensuring successful and timely completion within budget and scope. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and vendors to drive project success. This role requires strong organizational leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope timelines resources and deliverables.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals objectives and success criteria.

2. Execution Monitoring:

  • Lead project teams in the execution of project plans.
  • Monitor and track project progress identifying and resolving issues to ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders.

3. Resource Management

  • Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with department heads to secure necessary resources for project tasks.

4. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders providing regular updates on project status.
  • Ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations.

6. Quality Assurance

Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
Conduct thorough project reviews and evaluations upon completion.

7. Budget Oversight

  • Manage project budgets tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to relevant stakeholders.

8. Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans status reports and relevant correspondence.
  • Ensure all project documentation is organized and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Project Management Business Administration etc.).
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience in Project Management
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of managing projects from initiation to completion in the Shipbuilding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Commitment to a 12month interim project management role.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and organizational structures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
