We are looking for a HR Specialist for an oilfield services company to be based in Kuwait.
As an HR Specialist you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our workforce. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in HR including supervisory or managerial roles and possess a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and industry regulations.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding.
- Oversee employee relations addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and devise effective workforce planning strategies.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Handle performance management processes including evaluations feedback and improvement plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR with a focus on oilfield services.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is essential.
- Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is a significant advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Indepth knowledge of Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with crossfunctional teams.
