Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:


Our client a Beauty/Cosmetics company is seeking a dynamic and experienced social media lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media a deep understanding of various platforms and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


Develop and execute a robust social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business goals.

Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure the brands presence is innovative and relevant.

Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make datadriven recommendations for improvement.

Plan and execute social media campaigns promotions and contests to increase brand visibility and engagement.

Foster and nurture an active and engaged community across social media platforms.

Create engaging and shareable content for various social media channels including but not limited to text image and video content.

Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.



Requirements

Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years proven work experience in a similar role

Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role.

Indepth knowledge of social media platforms trends and best practices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

Analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.

Experience with paid social media advertising.

Strong project management and organisational skills.



The ideal candidate for this role must have: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the skincare, beauty, hospitality or personal care industry. Strong understanding of experiential marketing principles and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding results. In-depth knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and industry trends. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
