The Electrical Engineer will support projects relating to process equipment HVAC building utilities electrical infrastructure and control systems. You will be responsible for providing electrical and automation engineering expertise for the design installation operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and related facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work with crossfunctional teams to develop electrical and automation requirements for ongoing projects and equipment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. FDA & GMP).
- Design electrical systems and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Develop equipment and system specifications installation and testing procedures.
- Oversee installation of electrical and automation systems ensuring all work is done in compliance of standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems and provide resolutions to complex technical issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for electrical and automation systems.
- Monitor and maintain electrical and automation systems identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans for upgrades or modifications
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years designing testing and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles including power distribution controls and instrumentation.
- Experience with automation technologies would be advantageous such as PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems.
- Ability to work multiple projects/tasks and work under tight deadlines.
