The IT Adoption Specialist will play an important role in the delivery of IT change. The IT project portfolio is varied, encompassing cloud-based solution implementations for different departments, IT infrastructure and application upgrades and migrations, new office implementations and, process transformation through the Microsoft 365 suite.
Purpose
The IT Adoption Specialist will support the Head of IT Projects and Programme Delivery Manager in a broad range of activities aligned to relevant projects delivering IT services. Their focus will be on user adoption and training for collaboration and communication tools and services. This will include the preparation of training materials, delivery of training sessions and the ownership and management of various user forums across the region.

You have…
A passion for widening and supporting access to IT with previous experience of working in a large and complex IT environment, where you have coordinated information and supported projects with a focus on user adoption, change management and training.
Excellent experience of successfully delivering training programmes on site and online in group and on a one-to-one basis.
Excellent successful experience of conducting training needs analysis and designing course materials and other documents such as guidelines.
Strong general Microsoft application knowledge.
Ability to summarise and organise information.
Ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
Capacity to forge strong business relationships with external suppliers.
IT qualifications in Microsoft technologies and/or project management qualifications such as PRINCE II
Demonstrable excellent communication skills with the proven ability to convey complex ideas/processes/procedures to technical & non-technical audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong, successful, and collaborative working relationships at all levels within an organisation.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management and the ability to prioritise work, and be able to respond to tight deadlines both as an individual and as part of a team.
Educated to degree level in a professional or related discipline and/or with equivalent relevant practical experience and a minimum of ITIL foundation.
