Additional Highlights of this Exclusive Role:


Competitive Compensation:

  • Salary: up to $200000/Year (dependant on experience)
  • Bonus: 25% (personal KPI % multiplied by the org. KPI %)


Hybrid Work Model: (2 days in the office in St. Thomas or Port Huron (Sarnia region).

  • Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement with two days in the office across strategic locations.
  • Ability to travel to Texas once or twice per quarter


MustHave Qualifications:

  • CPA in good standing.
  • Proven systems implementation experience specifically with Microsoft DynamicsFinance. Leadership in the financeside implementation is crucial.
  • Minimum 10 years of strong leadership experience.
  • A handson leader with the ability to dive into details when necessary.


International Expertise:

  • Mastery in both Canadian and US accounting/finance with knowledge of both CAD/US Taxes navigating corporate 1099 and W2 taxes
  • Preferably experienced in leading organizations with locations in Canada the United States and Mexico.


Communication :

  • Fluency in English is essential; bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is advantageous. Clear and effective communication skills are paramount


Responsibilities:


Finance:

  • Strategic Financial Guidance: Act as a financial advisor to the executive team providing insights for strategic planning.
  • Budget Mastery: Lead and review the budgeting process with finesse.
  • Compliance Champion: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all financial aspects including HR policies.
  • Innovative Solutions: Manage and develop information systems solutions for accounting finance and reporting.
  • Global Oversight: Monitor legislation regulations and policies across borders to ensure compliance.
  • Key member driving forward the MS Dynamics systems implementation. With some early stage setbacks our client is depending on a highly qualified and system savvy expert to be a key leader/driver in finalizing this implementation.


Human Resources: (After year 1)

  • HR Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive team and HR Director to align staffing with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in crossteam processes.
  • Communication Maestro: Ensure effective communication across all locations enhancing corporate culture for employee engagement.


What We Need From You:

  • Bachelors degree in finance or related discipline.
  • Accredited accounting designation (CPA).

Global Outlook: Valid Passport with the ability and desire to occasionally travel to the US Mexico and Canada.
