We are actively seeking a qualified Accountant/Bookkeeper for our client in Philadelphia. Below are the responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Submit process and reconcile all bank deposits for both locations
- Manage monthly physical inventory reconciliation process
- Oversee and pay state and city sales liquor and related taxes (monthly/quarterly)
- Oversee and process payroll through the ADP portal system
- Oversee and manage all employee benefits
- Manage the Lightspeed POS systems
- Manage and reconcile organization Ramp bank cards
- Work with PwC Bookkeeping Connect team who handles monthend close billing invoicing and accounts payable
- Process and record staff expenditures and donations for the organization
- Process applicable online billpay for repayment of expenditures
- Assist with oversight of all Insurance policies
- Monitor and track all fixed assets
- Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
- Assist monthend and yearend close financial reporting to include: 990 filing BCO10/23 filing
- Issue monthly financial statements and balance sheet and provide analysis
- Produce and maintain the annual budget(s)
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Requirements
- A finance or accounting degree is preferred.
- Job requires familiarity with Online QuickBooks and proficiency with Excel.
- NotforProfit work experience is a plus.
- Job is performed within a 40 hour work week at either location in Philadelphia Pa.
- Some remote work is possible.
