Production Shift Supervisor

• To properly carry out shift changeovers on all machines in line with shift changeover procedure with his colleagues on the preceding and incoming shift
  
• Ensure that the machines are operated in a safer condition
  
• To ensure all machines are operated according to standard operating procedure (SOP).
  
• To maintain a high standard of performance for his machine in terms of minimizing the number of breakdowns that occur and the amount of unplanned downtime that is incurred
  
• Operate with his team a full production process to achieve the set production target.
  
• Prepare reports on output working hours and Machine efficiency.
  
• Monitor throughput on a timely basis to ensure no departure from set target.
  
• Ensure that all working areas are kept clean and tidy according to set standards
  
• As the team head he will ensure that all loosed gaps of unproductive activities are tidied up.
  
• Is responsible to achieve the set volume target
  
• Is responsible to meet the product quality standard of the cocoa product
  
• Execute the HACCP programs and enforce GMP
  
• Give corrective measures to ensure safe and efficient operation
  
• Is responsible for the proper execution of action plans and improvement plans
  
• Is responsible for the production staff assigned on his shift with to staff straight safety work efficiency and motivation cleanness and proper use of equipment
  
• To take on any other assignment or project as deemed fit by the officer he reports to
  
• Achievement of product quality and Food Safety.
  
• Thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance activities on the machine to be carried out within the standard time.
  
• Efficient and proper operation of the machine in terms of machine availability and the matching of speeds to the quality of materials inputs.
  
• Other duties assigned by your supervisor.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or HND in relevant courses.
  
• Minimum of 13 years experience
  
• Knowledge of cocoa operations planning manufacturing quality environment engineering health and safety.
  
• Familiarity with plant manufacturing operations and project planning.
  
• Understanding of financial impact and cost benefits analysis.
