he Germanspeaking MICE & Project Specialist Leisure Travel will be responsible for handling leisure travel projects with a focus on MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions) for Germanspeaking clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the leisure travel industry excellent communication skills in German and English and a proactive approach to planning and executing successful travel experiences. The MICE & Project Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their travel requirements and design tailormade itineraries that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions) projects for Germanspeaking clients.
- Create and design leisure travel itineraries with a focus on safari experiences.
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
- Research and recommend suitable travel products accommodations and services.
- Coordinate travel arrangements including booking flights accommodations and activities.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure smooth operation of travel arrangements.
- Handle travel inquiries and provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of travel services provided.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Experience:
- 35 years of experience in leisure travel preferably with a focus on MICE.
- Experience in itinerary design and leisure sales.
- Knowledge of inbound travel and safari itineraries.
- Prior experience as a travel consultant or in travel sales is advantageous.
- Experience in handling group travel and incentives travel.
