Information Security Officer Flex LNG Fleet Management (FFM)

About Us:

Our client a multinational familyowned business with over 20000 seafarers and 2000 shorebased staff is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer for their UKbased operation in Newcastle. Focused on providing services to Flex LNG Fleet Management (FFM) this role is pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of their operations managing 13 LNG Carriers.

Key Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. ERP System Management:
   

   • Ownership of enduser permissions for the main ERP system (skybased) with proactive dialogue with the system maker.
     
   • Access control and governance of the ERP system in adherence to best practices.
     

2. Access Control and Governance:
   

   • Facilitation of increased control over access to other FFMrelated software and services collaborating with software owners.
     
   • ISAE 3402 responsibility for Flex LNG Fleet Management AS.
     

3. Cybersecurity Measures:
   

   • Ownership of cybersecurity measures and controls within the organization.
     
   • Cybersecurity responsibility for the 13 vessels managed by FFM.
     

4. Best Practices and Industry Forums:
   

   • Implementation of best practices in information security.
     
   • Participation in relevant industry forums to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements.
     

Requirements

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in information technology computer science or related fields.
  
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with ERP and IT systems.
  
• Knowledge of ISAE 3402 international assurance standards.
  
• Previous experience in the asset management industry is advantageous.

• Excellent organisational skills.
  
• Strong teamwork and cooperation abilities.
  
• Fluency in English.
  
• Willingness and ability to travel sometimes at short notice.
  
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
  

Benefits

The salary for this position is set at 40000 per annum. Can negotiate depending on experience
