Your role

*Please note this position is located in beautiful Germany*

As a DevOps Engineer (Elixir) your mission is to support the smooth and efficient operation of our Event Inc Platform(s) focusing on aspects of scalability observability and resilience.

You will

  • Collaborate in managing and optimizing legacy products and infrastructure as they transition into the new platform
  • Work alongside senior team members to ensure a consistent and high uptime for the EventInc Platform reducing service interruptions
  • Assist in establishing effective monitoring logging and alerting mechanisms ensuring swift identification and rectification of any discrepancies
  • Support initiatives aimed at automating repetitive business tasks to drive efficiency across different departments
  • Contribute to the development of tools that streamline the deployment process facilitate collaboration and simplify environment setups
  • Work alongside senior DevOps to maintain and enhance legacy products and infrastructure ensuring they operate securely and effectively until integrated into the new platform

What we like

  • You have proven experience in software engineering (>5 years) preferably in a fast paced agile environment such as a startup or scaleup
  • You possess sound theoretical and technical knowledge and experience in CI/CD and DevOps
  • You can implement solutions in Elixir that are scalable secure and maintainable
  • You are able to think on your feet and react quickly to immediate challenges swiftly implementing solutions
  • You enjoy working collaboratively aiming at understanding the bigger pictures as well as the challenges and needs of your stakeholders such as fellow engineers but also other teams
  • You are open to learn from both successes and mistakes with an eagerness to adapt and evolve in line with SRE best practices
  • Bonus points if you also have experience in Livebook already
  • Finally you are proficient in English German skills are not necessary but are a plus
