ob Summary • To provide efficient shipping services & coordination of LNG, LPG, Tankers, OSV, Sulphur, SPM vessels operation. • To handle LNG, LPG, Tankers, OSV, Sulphur, SPM vessels & all other related shipping jobs assigned by Supervisor. • To Liaise with Port Authorities & ensure timely berthing / sailing of vessel’s as per the expectations of agency nominator. • To Liaise with Suppliers, Master, Principal and Organize / Arrange all requirements as per principal’s instructions. • To submit all essential documents prior to vessel arrival. • To Register vessel on the berthing line up & to ensure the vessel turnaround with minimum delays at Port. • Responding to inquires related to Shipping as per KPI & adhering to Quality procedures. • Ensure best and reliable “Owners Representative” service to clients. • To Coordinate with The Supervisor with regard to all operational matters. • To board vessels on Arrival / Prior to Sailing & during Cargo Operations (if required) & discuss operational issues / Requirements. • To liaise with Supervisor & Accounts department in order to follow up on outstanding payments & make arrangements to recover same asap. • To obtain necessary permissions from Port Authorities related to special requirements (Hot work / Painting / Cargo shifting etc..) • To follow all Service Delivery Procedures as outlined in the Service Delivery Manual. • To be followed up the outstanding balances with Principals and secure the balance funds when final D/A sent. • Handle off shore projects, off shore operations, small crafts, crew changes, once allocated by operations supervisor. • Ensure compliance to Delta 21, QMS, Environment Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Above contributing factors will be measured & considered in the year end employee appraisal. • First Aid, Fire Fighting training, Defensive Driving trainings as per head/department manager nominated GAC Qatar Employees. Understand, follow, and contribute towards Delta 21, GAC Time, Quality Management and HSSE Management Systems as well. • HSSE Responsibilities. • It is your responsibility to comply with the GAC Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Policy and GAC HSSE Manual procedures respecting industrial and personal safety and environmental precautions, always giving consideration to the safety of yourself and others. You have the responsibility and authority to stop any works and report when an unsafe condition or action could result in an undesirable HSSE event.
