Tasks
PURPOSE OF THIS JOB
To support the provision of Data Centre technical consultancy services to both internal and external stakeholders. Particularly for the regional projects teams across Europe but also in consultancy commissioning account transition and mobilisation activities within the wider Data Centre Solutions organisation also across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
While electrically biased also covering other disciplines where appropriate.
Support delivery of data centre consulting services to internal and external teams.
- Provide project support technical due diligence audits technical governance commissioning account transition / mobilisation and the generation of reports.
- Offer technical support across GWS / DCS for all data centre product categories/services
- Develop knowledge of contractor designer and vendor management.
- Develop knowledge in providing cost saving solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of DCS specifications (electrical bias) both on a project specific and regional basis.
- Assist in the preparation and development of project proposals and solutions aligning to the client base market and regional industry trends.
- Offer technical support to the delivery teams in the implementation of projects from inception through proposal development award delivery commissioning and handover.
- Support continuous improvement innovation and customer value on a project and regional basis including the delivery of initiatives.
- Contribute to a regional database of all product contracts locations metrics etc
- Support the regional DCS projects community in ensuring connection collaboration plus communication along with product and specification compliance across all our projects.
- Assist the Data Centre Solutions teams with product selection and securing new opportunities and growing account revenues and margin.

- Reporting to CBRE DCS PJM Consulting Technical Director
- Data Centre Solutions internal customers including need for customer satisfaction
- Specific external customers again including need for customer satisfaction
- DCS Projects team members
- Connection to regional industry forums and groups
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Work Experience
- 1 2 Years post graduate industry experience in an electrical engineering or building services capacity preferably in Critical Environments and / or Data Centres.
- Engineering degree (Electrical) or equivalent.
