Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative to join our sales team. In this role you will be required to source new customers and business contacts demonstrate the technical features of our products drive sales and maintain strong customer relations.

To ensure success as a Technical Sales Representative you should have strong knowledge of technical products a passion for sales and the availability to travel regularly both locally and abroad if required.
Ultimately a topclass Technical Sales Representative drives business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the right product choices.

A. Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities
1. Sourcing potential new customers
2. Maintaining regular contact with existing customers
3. Traveling to the customer's location to talk about our product range
4. Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products
5. Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products
6. Composing quotations tender documents and customer proposals
7. Generating purchase orders and sales receipts
8. Maintaining strong customer relations
9. Maintaining strong relationships with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers)’ representatives (Companies in Europe and elsewhere)
10. Attending product training courses and seminars exhibitions nationwide and internationally
11. Meeting sales targets


B. Technical Sales Representative Requirements:
1. Technical/Engineering diploma and technical experience/background
2. Previous experience as a Sales Representative
3. Strong knowledge of technical products / Industrial Machinery / Mechanical Engineering
4. Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Professional and friendly appearance
6. Strong communication skills
7. Knowledge of computer systems and Office Software
8. Ability to meet sales targets
9. Team Player but also strongly selfmotivated and able to work independently
10. Ability to travel locally and internationally (3050%)
11. Own transport and Bclass driver license
12. A proficient command of the English language both verbal and written
