We are seeking a Certified Medical Technologist for a temp to hire position in Norcross, GA. CMT will be responsible for performing and interpreting laboratory tests in the clinical laboratory.

Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

A.S or A.A degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program.

1 year experience preferred but not required.

ASCP, AAB or AMT (must be current)

Responsibilities :

Medical Technologist performs analyses and reports on patient specimens.

Assist Laboratory Manager with daily lab functions.

Maintains a quality control program appropriate for testing performed in the lab.

Obtains patient specimens and processes them for testing.

Performs miscellaneous duties as scheduled.

Performs and documents laboratory quality control.

Participates in proficiency testing and quality improvement evaluations.
