Plant head - SPM Automation

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Head to oversee the operations of our plant in Pune Maharashtra India. As the Plant Head you will be responsible for managing all aspects of production ensuring efficient and smooth operations and achieving production targets. This is a fulltime position with an executive level role and we require a candidate with more than 10 years of experience in plant management.

Qualifications and Skills

• More than 10 years of experience in plant management or a similar leadership role

• Strong knowledge and experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and machine assembly

• Proven track record in managing production operations and achieving production targets

• Expertise in technical purchase including sourcing negotiation and vendor management

• Experience in mechatronics components and project execution

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce

• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities

• Ability to analyze data identify trends and implement effective solutions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Sound knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments

• Ability to effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daytoday operations of the plant ensuring smooth functioning and productivity

• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and meet production targets

• Manage and allocate resources effectively including manpower machinery and materials

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure effective production flow

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and address any issues or nonconformities

• Monitor and analyze production data identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

• Lead and motivate the production team fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork

• Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities to the team members

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technical purchases

• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and equipment

• Report to senior management on production performance issues and improvement initiatives
