Requirements

• 3-5 Years experience in ship chandling industry required
  
• Drivers licence & Own Vehicle
  
• 2 Excellent communication skills and all round people person
  
• Dynamic, Energetic individual
  
• Relevant tertiary qualification required
  
• Additional Foreign Languages a plus, ie. French, Portuguese, Greek
  
• A vision to grow a career in a well established international group
  

Responsibilities

• Carrying out market research
  
• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships
  
• Customer Visits (Quay, In-house/office, Travel) Monitoring competitor activities
  
• Promoting of the organization, products & services
  
• Help clients to solve their problems and find the best solution
  
• Assist clients to identify their needs
  
• Work with senior managers to formulate and implement sales plans Meet and exceed sales targets
  
• Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  
• Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers Any other duty that is reasonable and relevant to this position
  
• Reporting on departmental activity to senior management
  
• Review and update existing SOP s to meet departmental requirements for efficient service delivery to clients.
  
• Assessing customer requirements and quoting price/terms
  
• Acquiring and arranging delivery of goods and following up with clients Process quotes, orders, deliveries for clients as required
