Senior Test Analyst

• Work effectively with the Software Development team to produce the required results
  
• Participating with other key staff / Contractors in the specification and development of new eTools applications.
  
• Ensuring that eTools applications are presented in a manner that assists with ease of use by the user and aids marketability.
  
• Ensuring all eTools software applications are thoroughly and methodically tested before commercial release.
  
• Document all testing procedures and outcomes.
  
• Provide feedback where appropriate on areas of improvement in the software.
  
• Great communication and ability to work in a small multicultural team.

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in IT Software Development or a related field.
  
• Must have experience in manual web and mobile applications testing.
  
• Experience of creating manual and automated test cases.
  
• Ability to derive test cases from functional / technical designs.
  
• Ability to quickly gain a working knowledge and understanding of eTools current products.
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in testing software applications as a Test Analyst in a commercial environment.
  
• Maintain test case suites for functional and integration coverage that test micro services / serviceoriented architecture the GUIbased application and nonGUI based servicesProvide feedback where appropriate on areas of improvement in the software
  
• Experience with estimate priorities plan and coordinate testing activities.
  
• Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  
• Knowledge / experience with Selenium Postman or similar.
  
• Experience with performance load scalability and stress testing of applications using JMeter.
  
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum delivery environment.
  
• Good analytical skills.
