Senior Net Backend Engineer German speaker

ainavio (previously Retail Foundation) is a startup that provides an allinone cloud solution for the ecommerce industry to capture enrich and distribute product content at scale. We use AI and workflow automation to help our customers improve their product information management. As a spinoff of a consulting firm we already have a large ecommerce company as a customer.

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Engineer (German speaker) to work on one of Ainavio Foundation Cloud systems.

Our Foundation Cloud offering Product Information Management (PIM) Digital Asset Management (DAM) Master Data Management (MDM) and content aggregation provides a holistic approach to amalgamate refine and orchestrate data from multiple sources and domains including ERP CRM preexisting databases and logistics solutions.

Tasks

As part of our team you will:

• Help us overview one or some backend systems and together with the team build and take care the systems with high quality
• Work with the backend team on datadriven engine and the Machine Learning team to integrate and bring great AI features to benefit greatly to our customers
• Analyze the existing systems and develop concepts for a highperformance serviceoriented application landscape
• Work with colleagues in Germany and Vietnam in agile teams
• Mentor junior engineers listen and take initiatives as you see appropriately
• Proactively communicate research solutions to solve problems to keep our systems and team work smoothly

Requirements

• Experience You have at least 5 years in building backend services with agile software development methods (e.g. Scrum TDD)
• Qualification You have worked on multiple .NET/C# projects so far. Ideally using ASP.NET Core (Web API or Minimal API) or serverless e.g. using Azure Functions. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and services like (App Services API Management Functions CosmosDB) are a big plus but not required.
• Experience You have worked with microservices and event or messagedriven large scale architectures before. Prefer work experience in both corporate and startup environments
• Collaboration You are a team player and proactive communicator. The teams result is more important than personal ego
• Skills you can influence different stakeholders while mentoring and growing others. You help connect people towards the same goal
• Optimization you are used to optimizing code for performance as we are dealing with larger datasets; and interested in new cloud technologies for further improvements
• Enthusiasm you are enthusiastic about the whole development cycle including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure
• Languages you are fluent in English and German
