Job Description
FenX is a spinoff from ETH Zurich. We tackle the worlds energy and greenhouse gas challenge by bringing technology and innovation to the building insulation market. Our first impact product is a highperformance building insulation panel incorporating mineral waste materials. It is cost effective fully recyclable and has a low CO2 footprint.
At FenX every day offers a new opportunity to shape the future. We are looking for a talented and passionate Materials Engineer who wants to join the adventure of a dynamic startup with a mission to empower circular construction.
Tasks
- You are responsible for designing new and improving existing mineral foams.
- You drive and develop methodologies for the characterization of mineral foams.
- You support the technological transfer from R&D to the testing pilot line.
- You actively participate in longterm product/technology planning.
- You track monitor and report progress and deliverables on running projects.
Requirements
- You have completed an MSc in Materials Engineering or similar.
- You have gained first work experience preferably in the development and testing of construction materials.
- You apply specialized technical expertise to design analyze and interpret technical experiments.
- You are team orientated communicate effectively work cooperatively and make a positive contribution to the team environment.
- You are flexible and can adapt quickly to changing requirements to operate successfully in a dynamic working environment.
- We value initiative you are proactive and can take on tasks independently.
