Java Developer

Responsibilities:

Actively collaborate within the project team leveraging your experience to guide the team through the entire development lifecycle.

Ensure code quality and governance.

Ensure that engineers adhere to any patterns/designs established and agreed upon with project leads.

Plan estimate and contribute to the architecture coding and development.

Drive refactoring and continuous improvements of the codebases.

Thoroughly communicate technical decisions and information to the global team.

Take responsibility for releases and contribute to the ongoing support of live applications.

Beyond programming actively participate in the deployment and operation of the software we build (DevOps).

Deliver fair outcomes for our customers maintaining a high level of professionalism in conduct.

Basic Qualifications:

Strong experience in Java development (4 years).

Experience with AWS cloud environment (4 years).

Solid experience in JavaScript/Typescript development (3 years).

Experience in building scalable software services such as serverless and microservices.

Strong objectoriented design (OOD) skills with knowledge of design principles patterns and best practices.

Solid database modeling skills with experience in both relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience working in mixeddiscipline project teams following Agile methodology.

Experience working directly with clients and other project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.

Strong English skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Experience with eventdriven architectures including principles and implementation.

Experience with DomainDriven Design (DDD).

Experience with TestDriven Development (TDD).

Experience with using and/or configuring CI/CD pipelines.
